It is our mandate to help create a safer Jamaica by reducing the loss of lives and by improving the quality of life for all Jamaicans.

It is also our aim for Jamaicans to be prepared to become the integral initial link in a national emergency service, helping to achieve the 2030 vision of making Jamaica the ideal place to live, work, raise families, and do business.
